Should I choose QBY or DBY?

QBY is air-operated and DBY is electric-drive. Start with the available utility and site requirements, then compare the exact models' flow, pressure, wetted materials and controls.

Which parts must be checked for liquid compatibility?

Confirm the diaphragm, balls, seats, seals and other wetted parts against the actual liquid, concentration and temperature. A series name alone does not guarantee compatibility.

Can I assume any diaphragm model may run dry?

No. Operating limits vary by model and configuration. Request the current instructions before relying on dry-run or solids-handling capability.
